Twitter creates #EndSARS emoji in solidarity of protest

The social media tech giant, Twitter, has created an emoji with the hashtag, ‘EndSARS’, and a fist colored with the green-white-green depicting the color of the Nigerian flag in solidarity with the protest.

The emoji pops after a Twitter user might have typed the #EndSARS word on the compose space.

This is coming after users in the United States, Europe and Africa experienced downtime on Thursday finding it difficult to send tweets or refreshing their timelines.
