Yobe State Governor and APC Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, yesterday hosted Course One participants of the National Institute of Security Studies.
The institute, a training centre for security studies, research, capacity building and staff development for the department of state services (DSS), the Nigerian intelligence community, sister security agencies, strategic agencies of government is to sharpen the professional skills of men and women in the security and intelligence business for the purpose of supporting and protecting the rights of the citizenry.
The Governor while congratulating the participants for making the pioneer list of the institute charged the participants to make good use of the knowledge acquired to improve public service delivery.
Coordinator of the participants, Alhaji Zanna Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary Protocol Services commended the governor for nominating the participants to the course.
“Your Excellency you made the right nominations, we have been good ambassadors of the state and rated one of the best for participating actively and making meaningful contributions,” Zanna said.
