Former presidential aide and senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone, Senator Andy Uba has reacted to a recent prophecy by the Leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, over his governorship ambition in Anambra State.
Andy, in a press release made available to newsmen by his media office, described Ayodele as a prophet of doom, saying that he has no business with him.
It would be recalled that Ayodele had over the weekend released names of some governorship aspirants in Anambra, who he claimed will not win the November 6 election in the state, advising them not to spend their money unnecessarily.
Andy, whose name made the list, said he has no business with doomsday prophets and their prophecies.
“We are privy to a message where Prophet Elijah Ayodele announced on the media that our principal’s gubernatorial ambition alongside some other notable aspirants should not continue,” the statement read.
“We again refuse to be drawn into any unnecessary drama as our principal’s keen focus is to ensure that come November 6, 2021, the state is once and for all rid of bad governance as presently exhibited.
“We challenge Prophet Ayodele who has been in the time past notorious for giving prophecies that eventually turned out to be false, to have at least told us who would be Governor rather than selecting a number of aspirants, our principal inclusive, in such a prophecy we are so sure did not come from God.”
“He also prophesied that the seat of government would be moved from the villa to a new place in 2020 but as we speak, the seat of government remains at the villa.
“These, alongside many of his other doomsday prophecies have always lacked precision causing us to ask which God spoke to Prophet Ayodele?”
The senator urged the Anambra people not to despair as light and darkness have nothing in common.
The statement said, Senator Uba is keenly reaching out to the grassroots and stakeholders within and outside the state and the feedback has been awesome, which they are sure will culminate into a total victory come 6 November 2021.
